Summer Activities

To some, with the ever present therapeutic chiming of cow bells in the background, the Summer is the time to be in the Arlberg. Althought quieter, you will not lack for adventure, whether you are a fly fisherman, walker, cyclist, spa junkie or white water rafter. Particular activity highlights include:

  • Kayaking
    Whether you are a class V kayaker looking for big volume technical rapids in the world class, crystal clear Lech Gorges or a beginner looking for a gentle introduction to the sport on a picturesque alpine lake, Skyfall is situated in close proximity to some of the best kayaking and guides that the Alps has to offer.
  • Fly Fishing
    From the junction with the Spullerbach River to the junction with the Krum River at the Tyrol state border, the Lech River is a fly fishing paradise for brown and rainbow trout, not to mention the occasional grayling. Alternatively, for those with children to entertain, the Lech fish pond in the centre of Zug will not only to supply you with fishing gear, bait and crucial tips, but also cook your catch on demand.
  • Hiking
    The Lechweg is an easy long distance trial that leads through one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe or alternatively the Green Ring can be completed in three one day stages with the aid of the many cable cars, chairlifts, huts and cabins that remain open throughout the summer months.
  • Biking
    Whether you are after a beginner’s tour to the Formarinsee and the Freiburger Cabin or something more extreme like the tours to the Kleine Walsertal or to the Honskopf, the over 200km of on, and off, road cycle routes around Skyfall have something for everyone. Additionally, the Bike Park Fiss is one of the best parks in Europe, offering guided tracks with varying degrees of difficulty.
  • High rope tours
    Located in a nearby Serfaus, the x-trees fun zone offers fantastic routes through the trees for all ages.
  • Shooting and Archery
    The Lech rifle range is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons throughout the summer and there are also simulated hunting tours for children using bows and arrows and plastic animals that can easily be arranged by your Skyfall concierge.
  • Climbing
